Dual-listed Mkango Resources has appointed Tim Slater interim CFO, subject to the approval of the TSX-V.

Slater succeeds Sandra Evans, who has served as CFO since January 2010.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, TSX-V- and Aim-listed Mkango thanked Evans for fulfilling the role of CFO for the last nine years and wished her success in future endeavours.

Evans will continue to provide consulting services to the company until June 2020 to ensure a smooth transition.

Slater is currently MD of chartered accountants and business advisory Harmer Slater.

“We are delighted that Tim has joined us for the next exciting phase of our development. We are building a team that will enable Mkango to fulfil the undoubted potential of our asset base and to further grow Mkango Resources,” said Mkango president Alexander Lemon.
