Metanor raises $5.93m for exploration

JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – TSX-V-listed emerging gold producer Metanor Resources has closed a private placement, raising $5.93-million.

A total of 5.25-million flow-through shares have been issued at a price of $1.13 apiece.

The gross proceeds will be used for exploration work on the company’s properties in Quebec, including the Bachelor mine and the Barry project, in addition to over 15 000 ha of exploration property.
