Maximize Efficiency And Modernize Your Operations

13th March 2015

Company Announcement - GEFA System AB will be back in Africa during the second quarter of 2015. Take the opportunity to meet with us and see how we can help reduce energy expenditure in your underground mine. Or if you are looking for efficient and Low NOx combustion technology we will show you how we can help. We are seeking invitations to visit underground mining and metals processing companies in Africa. One or two hours of their time will be sufficient to present the benefits of using our technology. For 15 years we have been contributing to the efficiency of one of the largest underground iron ore mines in the world, with our unique ventilation on demand system. Moreover, our combustion technology has been used in a number of metals and mineral processing applications. We have assisted processing plants recently in Zambia, Namibia and Chile to achieve efficient and Low NOx combustion, says Ulf Karlsson CEO, GEFA System AB.

Here is what some of our clients have said about our solutions:

“After installation of Artic Vent Control there was a 29% decrease in energy consumption from the fans and a 40% decrease in energy for heating the mine air. The introduction of this new system in the Malmberget mine has led to a decrease in the annual electricity energy consumption from 167Ghw to 72GWh.”

Sven-Ove Nilsson Mäki, Ventilation Engineer, LKAB
The oil consumption has been reduced and furnace brick life has been extended from the use of GEFA System AB’s combustion technology at our Iron Ore pelletizing plant.

Mathias Liinanki, Maintenance Engineer, LKAB

GEFA System AB has a focused and determined group of engineers who work with our customer needs and endeavor to make sure our solutions are maximizing their potential, says Ulf Karlsson. Ulf encourages underground mining and metals processing companies to take the opportunity to meet with us during our visit. If they would like more information about how they can do so, please contact David Jack from our international development division.
