JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – ASX-listed Lucapa Diamond Company has recovered more “large special” diamonds weighing in excess of 10.8 ct each at its Lulo project, in Angola.
The company highlighted that the most recent finds, recovered at the project’s Mining Block 8, included a 90.32 ct, a 56.52 ct, a 36.61 ct, a 29.94 ct, a 21.16 ct, a 18.71 ct, a 17.06 ct and two 11 ct diamonds.
This brought the number of special diamonds recovered at Mining Block 8 since mining started on the block in August to 31.
