The first shipment of tungsten concentrate has left the La Parrilla mine, in Spain, destined for a customer in Europe, Aim-listed W Resources reported on Monday.
The first shipment comes as W last month commenced an early start-up of concentrate production at the mine, allowing it to generate revenue and cash flow ahead of large-scale production at a planned run rate of 2 500 t/y of tungsten concentrate.
Full-scale production will be achieved in the first half of next year.
