JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – An employee was killed in a rail-bound equipment accident at JSE-listed Harmony Gold’s Phakisa mine, in the Free State.
Investigations into the accident are under way.
“We are deeply saddened by this accident. My condolences go to the family, colleagues and friends of the deceased,” CEO Peter Steenkamp said on Friday.
