Galaxy reaches production targets

PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Lithium miner Galaxy Resources on Thursday flagged the production of 43 222 t of lithium concentrate at its Mt Cattlin operation, in Western Australia, during the three months to December.

The production achieved was at the higher end of the guidance of between 35 000 t and 45 000 t, the miner said.

During the quarter under review, Galaxy sold 29 778 t of lithium concentrate, which was slightly below the guidance of between 30 000 t and 45 000 t.

Galaxy is expected to release its quarter activity results late next week.
