JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Aim-listed Firestone Diamonds has recovered its largest diamond to date – a 134 ct gem-quality light yellow diamond – from its Liqhobong mine, in Lesotho.

The company believes the recovery, which is the second 100 ct-plus diamond recovered since production started, reinforced the potential for large stones at Liqhobong as early-stage mining continues.

In April, Firestone recovered what was then deemed to be its largest diamond recovered, a 110 ct gem-quality light yellow diamond.
