PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Uranium miner Energy Resources of Australia (Era) has announced that its CEO and MD Andrea Sutton will resign to take up a position with parent company Rio Tinto.
Sutton, who was appointed CEO and MD in 2013, will work with the board to ensure a smooth transition to her successor, Era said on Friday.
The timing of Sutton’s departure and the appointment of her successor will be announced in due course, the company said, noting that the recruitment for a replacement will start shortly.
