DRA wins Dargues EPC contract

PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Project house DRA Global has been awarded the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the Dargues gold mine, in New South Wales, being developed by Diversified Minerals.

The contract scope entails the EPC of a 355 000 t/y gold processing facility and mine backfill plant at the mine. The processing plant will comprise crushing, milling, flotation and filtration circuits and produce a sulphide concentrate for export.

The mine will produce an average of 50 000 oz/y of gold in the first six years of production.

Site work will commence in February 2019 and first ore is expected to be processed in early 2020.
