VANCOUVER (miningweekly.com) – South Africa-focused project developer Diamcor Mining sold 8 274.47 ct of diamonds in the second quarter ended September 30.

Two tenders were held during the quarter, raising proceeds of $1.17-million or $141.03/ct.

The sales included diamonds recovered from its Krone-Endora at Venetia project up to August 16.

Rough diamonds recovered from August 16 to September 30, will be recorded as rough diamond inventory on-hand for the second fiscal quarter, Diamcor said on Monday.

The miner has yet to declare commercial production at Krone-Endora and recoveries are incidental to the ongoing commissioning and testing exercises performed at the project.
