JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Some of the conditions precedent relating to exploration company Miranda Mineral Holdings’ 30% acquisition of the Nkomati anthracite mine, in Mpumalanga, are still being discussed by the relevant parties, Miranda said on Wednesday.
Through the proposed transaction Miranda would acquire an effective 50% participation in Sentula Mining subsidiary Benicon Coal, which, in turn, held 60% in the mine’s managing company Nkomati Anthracite.
Miranda advised its shareholders to continue to exercise caution when dealing in Miranda’s securities, until the pertinent conditions precedent had been resolved.
