CSA Global is proud to announce the nomination of Jeff Elliott – Managing Director of CSA Global, for the 2013 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
Jeff Elliott has been involved in the mineral resources industry for over 20 years. He started at CSA back in 1998 as a project geologist, when the entity was still known as CSA Australia. By 2002 he was invited to become a director of the company. In 2005 Jeff took on the role of Operations Manager. While in this position he coordinated the merger between CSA Australia and FinOre, diversifying from a mainly geological exploration consultancy to include resource geology and mine geology services.
In 2007 Jeff became Managing Director of CSA, taking over from company founder Rupert Crowe. At this point he embarked on a path of global expansion, diversification and corporate branding which has made CSA Global an internationally recognised consulting company to the global resource industry it is today.

Jeff played a key role in implementing the management buy-out of CSA Australia and developed the brand into what is now CSA Global. This led to the opening of a UK office in 2008, followed by further expansion with new offices in the Northern Territory and Queensland.  In 2010 CSA commenced business in Jakarta, Indonesia as well as moving the company’s head office to West Perth.  This was followed in 2012, by new offices in Johannesburg, South Africa and Vancouver, Canada as well as Adelaide in South Australia.  Most recently, CSA Global has announced it has opened its ninth office in Moscow, which will continue to deliver our signature brand of resource industry consultation services to Russia and the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). During the last 15 years with CSA Global Jeff has seen the team grow from four people in one office in Western Australia to a global team which peaked at over 150 people across nine offices. He has played a major part in expanding CSA Global’s service offering from our origins of exploration consulting to cover all stages of the mining cycle; from target generation, project acquisition, exploration & evaluation, data management, resource estimation, mine geology, optimisation, mine planning, financial analysis, due diligence, valuation and expert reporting. “It is an honour to have been nominated for this award” commented Jeff, “Of course to me, this nomination is recognition of the success of CSA Global as a whole and to all the individuals that have been integral to CSA Global’s success over the past several years.” The Board and staff congratulate Jeff on the timely recognition of his efforts in leading CSA Global to become the company it is today.
