Buxton MD on leave after children die on MH17 flight

PERTH (miningweekly.com) – ASX-listed junior Buxton Resources on Monday announced that MD Anthony Maslin would take personal leave for an indefinite period following the deaths of his three children.

The children were killed on Malaysia Airlines flight MH17, which was shot down over the Ukraine last week. All 298 passengers and crew aboard the plane perished.

Buxton told shareholders on Monday that the day-to-day operations would be taken over by chairperson Seamus Cornelius and the company’s other board members.
