PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Junior Blackstone Minerals will start share trading on the US-based OTCQB Market under the code BLSTF.

The base metals developer said on Thursday that the US trading platform would enhance the company’s visibility and its accessibility for North American investors, and followed after significant interest was shown from North American investors in a recent capital raising.

The company in September this year launched a A$21-million capital raise to fund ongoing work at the Ta Khoa nickel/platinum group metals project, in Northern Vietnam, where a recent scoping study found that some 12 700 t/y of nickel could be produced over an eight-and-a-half-year mine life.

“We are pleased to now be trading on the OTCQB, after many years of marketing in North America, we believe now is a great time to increase our exposure to one of the largest pools of capital in the world,” said Blackstone MD Scott Williamson.

“Given the recent focus on the rise of Tesla and the electric vehicle revolution we see North America becoming an important investor market for Blackstone’s future green nickel battery opportunities at Ta Khoa.”
