Barrick director resigns

TORONTO (miningweekly.com) – Barrick Gold announced on Tuesday that Nathaniel Rothschild had resigned from its board, effective as of January 7, owing to other time commitments.

Rothschild had been a director of Barrick since April 2010.

"On behalf of the board of directors, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Nat for his service. We are grateful for his many contributions to the company," founder and chairperson of Barrick Gold Peter Munk said in a statement.
