The Tomingley gold mine, in New South Wales, is set to produce between 60 000 oz and 65 000 oz at an all-in sustaining cost (AISC) of A$1 750/oz to A$2 100/oz in the 2024 financial year, ASX-listed Alkane Resources said on Wednesday.

The mine produced 15 855 oz at an AISC of A$2 156/oz in the September quarter.

“We've had a solid start to the year at Tomingley, meeting our production guidance,” said MD Nic Earner.

He reported that the Tomingley extension project was well under way with the second vent rise completed at Roswell, infill drilling occurring underground and surface works starting for the paste plant.

Earner stated that drilling at Boda and Kaiser continued through the quarter, keeping the company on schedule to release the updated Boda resource in the current quarter.

During the three months, Alkane invested A$16.2-million in growth and expansion at Tomingley and A$8.1-million in exploration.
