Volcanic appoints new CEO, chairperson

JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – TSX-V-listed Volcanic Gold Mines, which is developing a multimillion-ounce gold resource in West Africa, has appointed Jeremy Crozier CEO.

He succeeds Mike Iverson, who stepped down from the position on August 29.

Further, Simon Ridgway has joined Volcanic as executive chairperson. He is a cofounder of Fortuna Silver Mines, of which he is also chairperson.

He is also CEO of Focus Ventures and president and CEO of Radius Gold.

Volcanic has also appointed consulting geologist John Barry technical adviser.
