LIFTUBE®

Standard Industrie International, founded in 1978 in the North of France, specializes in the design and manufacture of equipment facilitating the handling of bulk powdery products.

Evolving and innovating continuously for 40 years in more than 60 different sectors of activity, STANDARD INDUSTRIE INTERNATIONAL brings its expertise in the resolution of customer issues. Rich in this field of expertise, the company has designed an innovative system that optimizes the sealing of any conveyor belt: the LIFTUBE®.

It is an equipment easy to install, that enables to cover the conveyor belt with hoods. This solution significantly reduces dust emissions during material conveying, whilst optimizing the operators safety. In this way, the LIFTUBE® reduces product losses and cleaning requirement during the transport of products such as sand, limestone, clinker, aggregate, grain, flour, etc.

This solution is also perfectly suitable for mining, recycling or wood treatment factories. Around the world, many Standard Industrie International customers using this patented system are fully satisfied with the results: optimizing productivity, reducing maintenance time and costs.

Let see an example in a platinium factory in South Africa :

The Standard Industrie’s customer was facing a daily loss of 2 to 3 tons of material

on the mill feeding conveyor. This required putting in place significant resources in terms of cleaning: 4 to 6 hours of cleaning per day carried out by 4 to 6 persons.

The consequences were a waste of time and money as well as a disruption in the production.

So, 30 meters of LIFTUBE® have been installed with a belt width of 900 mm to fit to the dimensions of the conveyor. An inspection hatch has been installed on one of the covers so that the customer can control the routing of the product to the mill.

The customer has regained his productivity and it is no long necessary for him to use a team to clean this area.
