Who would have thought that the platinum price was going to fall back into the $900/oz range, particularly against the backdrop of the World Platinum Investment Council foreseeing the supply deficit widening to 520 000 oz this year. But somewhere along the line, someone must have secret stocks that are being sold into the market at prices that rattle the framework and look terrible on the charts.
