Established in 1977, Chemvulc manufactures and distributes a range of industrial rubber products for mining and industrial applications, as well as tyre repair products, tyre accessories and equipment for tyres, specialising in off-the-road tyres (OTR) and retreading.

Chemvulc’s industrial rubber division offers a complete range of conveyor belt repair products, hot and cold splicing rubbers and adhesives, rubber-to-metal bonding, pulley lagging and lining products. Chemvulc’s automotive division offers tyre repair systems, a comprehensive range of large OTR tyre repair products and equipment for tyres, valves and airline products.

The family-run business is headquartered in Roodepoort, Gauteng, where it has three manufacturing facilities. The firm also has branches in Bloemfontein, in the Free State, Cape Town, in the Western Cape, Port Elizabeth, in the Eastern Cape, and Nelspruit in Mpumalanga.

Chemvulc has sister companies in New Zealand and Australia and exports its products to Egypt, the UK, Malaysia, Romania, Zambia, Ghana, Namibia, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Botswana, among others.

The ISO 9000:2008-certified company employs 150 people.
