TSX- and ASX-listed Alacer expects its production to be at the lower end of its full-year guidance range of 160 000 oz to 230 000 oz, the owner of the Çöpler mine, in Turkey, reported on Thursday.

In the third quarter, the mine produced 26 160 oz, taking year-to-date output to 89 233 oz. Alacer generated $37-million through the sale of 29 270 oz in the September quarter.

The company will publish third-quarter financial and operating results on October 30.

Çöpler’s oxide ore is currently being processed in a conventional crush, agglomeration, heap-leach and gold recovery circuit and the sulphide ore started being processing at a new sulphide plant in September. The sulphide project is near completion.
