ADVISIAN appoints Mervyn Stevens to Mining & Mineral Processing lead role.

Advisian, the independent consulting business of WorleyParsons, has appointed Mervyn Stevens as Managing Consultant, Mining & Mineral Processing, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Mervyn has specialist expertise in design, commissioning, process optimization, mine production management and consulting in technology, business and process engineering. He has extensive experience in environmental management, waste management and waste water treatment, recover and reuse.

Offering international experience in base metals, iron ore, coal, industrial minerals, diamonds and rare earth elements, Mervyn is highly experienced in copper and gold. With global exposure to extensive metallurgical mining and operations he has in-depth experience in the design, installation and commissioning of various process and unit operations worldwide.

Over the past 20 years Mervyn has worked in a range of mining organisations, most recently as Process Engineering Manager for Imerys Graphite & Carbon. His role covered all process engineering activities worldwide including process engineering design and implementation, execution of optimisation opportunities and leading the process R&D function.
