Tritec Sintered Products
Founded in Johannesburg by Allan Mackintosh in 1984, Tritec Sintered Products started as a closed corporation. In 1996, it converted to a proprietary company, trading as ‘Sintech’.
The name Sintech is an abbreviation of ‘Sintered Technology’ which is the process of forming a solid mass of material. This technology forms the basis of the range of products served by Sintech.
Sintech employs a total of 38 people at its Johannesburg and Durban facilities. With founder Mackintosh still employed at the company, Sintech’s management team has a wealth of experience of its customers and markets.
From its head office in Johannesburg, Sintech focuses on customer service in the following areas:
- The supply of spare parts
- Design and specification for new applications
- Full service, inspection and repair facility
- On-site inspection and maintenance
- Customer stock control and logistics
Sintech is ISO 9001:2015 certified and is also accredited as a Level 3 contributor under the generic broad-based black economic- empowerment codes of good practice.
The range of products serviced and supported by Sintech are imported from around the globe and are all original-equipment manufacturer (OEM) suppliers within their own markets. These OEMs have developed an understanding of local conditions and customers through their constant support and visits to Sintech’s facilities.
All Sintech products are available as new or service exchange items. Sintech technicians are trained and qualified at facilities owned and operated by its principals. The company uses only genuine products and spares to ensure the best outcome and price for its customers.
