Trans-Siberian reports operational improvements

Russian miner Trans-Siberian Gold (TSG) on Tuesday reported improved third-quarter production results, with quarterly gold dore production rising by 26% to 11 698 oz.

The miner, which operates the Asacha gold mine, reported a 24% increase in its gold grade to 7.8 g/t, with the month of September recording an average grade of 9 g/t.

During the quarter, TSG also produced 30 203 oz of silver in dore, a 14% quarter-on-quarter improvement.

Gold sales dipped 1% to 9 085 oz and silver sales increased by nearly 800% to 48 626 oz.

TSG reported year-to-date gold production of 29 059 oz, which is in line with its full-year guidance of 36 000 oz to 40 000 oz.
