JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Helsinki- and London-listed Ruukki group on Thursday announced that chief commercial officer Stefano Bonati would assume responsibility for the company’s speciality alloys business, following the resignation of COO Theuns de Bruyn, who was leaving the company to pursue other business opportunities.
Bonati would head the Turkish mining and beneficiation operation TMS and the German processing plant, EWW, in addition to managing RCS, the company's in-house sales and marketing function.
“Ruukki executive chairperson Dr Alistair Ruiters would continue to be responsible for managing the FerroAlloys business,” CEO Thomas Hoyer said in a statement.
