Royal Bafokeng Platinum has announced a capital raise of R1.029-million through a rights offer that represents the key final building block to secure the company's path to 500 000 oz of platinum group element production.

RBPlat CFO Hanré Rossouw:

RBPlat has highlighted the positive contribution being made to the local mining industry by President Cyril Ramaphosa and Mineral Resources Minister Gwede Mantashe and pledged to do its bit towards conquering poverty and unemployment.

RBPlat CEO Steve Phiri:

RBPlat is investigating the use of renewable energy sources and investing in the upgrading of its tailings storage facilities.
