Having started operating in May 2015, Rand Transmission Company South Africa’s (RTC SA’s) mission is to be importers and suppliers of superior quality power transmission products at affordable prices. RTC SA is backed with the highest levels of service and technical support to various project houses, end-users and major original-equipment manufacturers situated across Africa and South Africa in particular.

The company is an exclusive distributor for highly regarded international manufacturers, which enables RTC SA to offer high-quality products at highly competitive prices, enabling the company to provide its clients with a cutting-edge price, without affecting the quality of the product.

A massive investment has been made in its 6 Main Reef road, Benrose, Johannesburg, central warehouse and, together with its suppliers, RTC SA created a substantial stockholding and buy-in process from all sectors. Together with an efficient stock control, the company can guarantee greater stock availability and a substantial reduction in lead times.

RTC SA’s technical support includes various functions from in-house drive designs, an on-site/off-site technical support team assisting that drives are correctly installed to ensure long-life durability and a positive return on investment.
As a further service offering, RTC SA works with its clients regarding special manufactured product requirements and, if required, the company offers local stockholding to ensure that products are available at all times.

RTC SA products comply with all regulated standard ratings, certifying that the products conform to industry standards.
The company employs 24 full-time staff members, who have a wealth of experience in both the power transmission and bearing industry. Owing to the company’s flat management structure, it allows RTC SA’s specialist staff members to perform optimally and to their full potential in their respective areas.

RTC SA has just completed a project in Russia and is currently working closely with its clients on a large pumps project in Africa, which will see the final installation taking place later this year.
RTC SA is in a process of realigning its company regarding procedures and processes as the Frans Schlebusch of Ukhule

Solutions is assisting with this process, which would include a much-improved Broad-Based Black Economic-Empowerment scorecard and systems to ensure that it reaches its growth targets.
