The 3rd annual PGMs Industry Day offers a truly global line-up of highly influential stakeholders drawn from local and international mining companies, investors, government and users of platinum group metals.

Organised by Resources 4 Africa - custodians of the annual Joburg Indaba for mining and investment - and taking place on Thursday 2nd April 2020 in Johannesburg, the PGMs Industry Day offers an authoritative platform for high-level strategic thinking.

Bringing together top industry players including major producers, users and investors, the one-day conference will tackle critical industry issues in a frank and open discussion.

Speakers include Norilsk Nickel Chairman Gareth Penny,

Sibanye-Stillwater CEO Neal Froneman, Royal Bafokeng Platinum CEO Steve Phiri, Anglo-American Executive Head Market Development Benny Oeyen, Minerals Council South Africa CE Roger Baxter, World Platinum Investment Council CEO Paul Wilson, Standard Chartered Bank New York Precious Metals Research ED Suki Cooper and many more.

Chaired by Bernard Swanepoel, crucial issues to be addressed this year include the outlook for platinum group metals globally;  the supply and demand factors affecting the market; prospects for growth and development; investors’ current perspectives on the PGMs industry; future markets and applications; as well as the role of PGMs in the hydrogen economy.
