JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – JSE-listed copper-miner Palabora Mining has appointed Jo-Ann Yuen as an alternate nonexecutive director, effective from September 21.
The appointment comes after the resignation of Philip Robinson as an alternate nonexecutive director, effective from September 18.
Palabora said in a statement that Yuen has been based in London with Palabora’s parent company Rio Tinto, since 2003, to March 2008, and then moved to the US.
Yeun is a chartered accountant and holds commerce and business administration degrees from the University of Western Australia, together with a diploma in applied finance from the Securities Institute of Australia.
