JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – James Cross has resigned as a nonexecutive director of London-listed diamond-miner Namakwa Diamonds with immediate effect to pursue other business commitments.

His position would not be replaced, the company noted, adding that the board composition remained compliant with the Combined Code on Corporate Governance.
