Miranda Minerals makes changes to its board

JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – JSE-listed Miranda Mineral Holdings on Friday reported that executive director Wayne Ison had resigned to pursue private business interest.

The resignation was effective immediately.

Miranda also announced the appointment of Adriaan Botha as the new financial director, effective immediately.

Botha, a chartered accountant, was previously employed in Miranda’s financial team in a consulting capacity. His professional experience includes both auditing and preparation of financial statements for various JSE-listed entities. Botha’s specialist expertise further extends into consulting on International Financial Reporting Standards.
