MICROMINE is excited to be exhibiting its intuitive mining solutions at the annual International Mining and Resource Conference (IMARC) in Melbourne. The conference is one of the largest of its kind in Australia and brings together over 3,000 delegates from across the industry including mining leaders, policy makers, investors, technical experts and service providers.

The event will take place at Melbourne’s Convention and Exhibition Centre from the 29th October – 1st November 2018 and will have a strong focus on the latest innovation, trends and new technology in the resources sector.

Over 6,000 decision makers, mining leaders, policy makers, investors, commodity buyers, technical experts, innovators and educators from over 90 countries will be in attendance for four days of learning, deal-making and networking.

“IMARC is a major event for MICROMINE as it gives us the opportunity to meet and connect with senior mining executives from across the Australian resources industry” Micromine Product Strategy Manager Mark Gabbitus commented.

2018 has been a busy year for MICROMINE with the release of new versions of 3D modelling and mine design solution Micromine 2018, data management solution Geobank 2018 and industry leading fleet management and mine control solution Pitram 4.10. MICROMINE will be showcasing the latest releases throughout IMARC 2018.

Geobank 2018 includes a range of new features and enhancements including an improved user interface, Global Substitution Parameters and increased functionality when designing or editing Graphic Reports.

3D modelling and mine design solution Micromine 2018 was released in April 2018 and includes a range of new features and enhancements that increase the overall usability and performance of the software.

Increased stability and performance were the key themes for the recent Pitram 4.10 release, which included 35 new major features and over 650 improvements across the solution. Pitram is MICROMINE’s fleet management and mine design solution which assists users to record and manage key mining data relating to equipment, materials and personnel.

“We have exhibited at IMARC for the past three years and we are excited to get back there this year and showcase our new software releases.” Gabbitus commented.

Attendees at IMARC 2018 will get the opportunity to see live demonstrations of these new versions, providing an in-depth look at how our products assist mining companies across the entire mining cycle. MICROMINE’s Product Specialists will be available to answer technical questions and deliver software demonstrations at the MICROMINE booth throughout the event.

“The agenda for the event looks really impressive with a strong networking schedule and targeted workshops focusing on some important challenges the industry is facing at the moment such as collaboration and sustainability. IMARC provides a great platform to explore these topics” Gabbitus added.
