From its early beginnings as a dealer in used construction equipment, Maximum Equipment has branched out and is now the local agent for a number of quality international brands.

The company is already a featured supplier of plant and machinery to many blue chip South African organisations in the earthmoving, mining and construction industry.

Specialising in the supply of excavation and construction equipment, including associated products such as hydraulic hammers, rock drills and ground rippers, Maximum Equipment took advantage of the good name it has in the local industry and reached out to acquire the agency rights for quality international products.

South Korean company Komac has entrusted its range of hydraulic breakers and attachment to Maximum as its South African agent, as has fellow South Korean attachment and hammer manufacturer Torpedo.

Turkish company Hidromek followed suit with its offering of excavators and tractor loader backhoes. As a result, Hidromek has enjoyed a growing brand awareness in the Southern African region, and will be launching its wheel loader in 2019 through its collaboration with Maximum Equipment.

The company has also recently acquired the agency for Feeleng excavator-mounted rock drills and added its own MXVR range of Vibro rippers to its product list.

With its sights set on becoming a regional player in the supply of quality construction equipment, Maximum has clients across the globe using its locally produced range of specialised hydraulic attachments that are designed to be fitted to various excavators.

Maximum is “small enough to care, yet big enough to deliver”.
