JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Kalagadi Manganese executive chairperson Daphne Mashile-Nkosi has been recognised for her business acumen and ability to execute successful business strategies.

She was this week bestowed the 2015 Africa Female Business Leader of the Year Award and a special commendation award by Pan-African flagship publication African Leadership Magazine and US-based legislative body Georgia Legislative Black Caucus.

“This award recognises exceptional leadership and managerial skill in a female business leader, who, in spite of stiff competition in a male dominated world, has shown resilience, courage and sagacity in building a worthy brand,” the partners said in a statement.

The special commendation, in effect a third-party endorsement, was one of the highest seals of confidence.

Mashile-Nkosi in the past also bagged other awards, including 2014 Africa CEO of the Year, the 2013 International Star for Leadership in Quality Award and the 2013 IPM CEO of the Year.
