JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – JSE-listed Impala Platinum (Implats) has appointed Metorex CEO Terence Goodlace to its board of directors with immediate effect, the platinum miner announced on Thursday.

Goodlace, who held several senior positions with Gold Fields before joining Metorex, will serve as a nonexecutive director to the Implats board.

"Terence brings with him extensive mining experience, having worked in the mining industry since the early 1980s," the company said in a statement.
