Heavy-duty equipment supplier High Power Equipment (HPE) Africa is currently distributing construction and mining equipment supplier Soosan's effective hydraulic breaker equipment used in mining operations.

The Soosan hydraulic breaker has features such as the highest power to weight ratio; powerful, yet lighter breakers; patented valve system and a simple hydraulic circuit and fewer components with less maintenance.

In addition, the breaker has an amplified hydraulic circuit that needs less oil flow, translating into greater efficiency. Further, it is a simple structure that is reinforced with a steel plate for durability.

HPE states that the Soosan breaker has a mechanism to reduce vibration and noise, assuring enhanced working conditions.

These features are testament to Soosan's investment in research and development, says HPE national sales manager Simon Smith.

"This leads to an evaluation process where we try to balance the fine line of cost and performance, but the Soosan hydraulic breaker provides quality and affordability," he says.

A hydraulic breaker is a powerful percussion hammer fitted to an excavator that is fitted to an excavator for demolishing concrete structures and rocks.

It is powered by an auxiliary hydraulic system from the excavator, which is fitted with a foot-operated valve for this purpose.
