JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) - South African gold miner Harmony Gold announced the appointment of Mashego Mashego as executive director on Wednesday.

Harmony CEO Graham Briggs said that the company was delighted to welcome Mashego into his new role as executive director for organisational development and transformation.

"At Harmony, our people are our assets and we are confident that Mashego's wealth of knowledge in human resources and his experience as member of Harmony's executive team will make him successful," he added.

Mashego has more than 20-years experience in human resources. He started his career as human resources manager at State-owned utility Eskom, and progressed in the field at JCI, Atlantis Diesel Engines and Foskor, joining Harmony in 2005.
