TORONTO (miningweekly.com) – TSX Venture Exchange-listed Goldsource Mines, the company that discovered coal in Canada's Saskatchewan province this year, has appointed Wendy Mathison as operations vice-president.

She will be responsible for managing the exploration and development of the company's coal projects in Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Mathison was most recently operations vice-president of Peregrine Diamonds, prior to which she was  senior contracts and land advisor for North America and Europe at BHP Billiton World Exploration Inc.
