Disgruntled empowerment company Vulisango's dust-up with Simmer & Jack Mines (Simmers) is all set to intensify between now and Christmas as the factions prepare to meet in what looks like being a bitter extraordinary general meeting. Vulisango wants incumbent Simmers CEO Gordon Miller thrown out and Miller says Vulisango is out to grab control of the junior gold company without paying a premium and without honouring the spirit of transformation. The dispute between Simmers and its 22% Vulisango black economic-empowerment partner flared up in September and resulted in the resignation of three Vulisango-nominated directors and a further two Simmers board members.
