TORONTO (miningweekly.com) – TSX Venture Exchange-listed Creston Moly has appointed Colin Benner as chairperson of its board of directors, effective immediately.

Benner was previously the vice-chairperson and CEO of Skye Resources, which was acquired earlier this year by HudBay Resources, and has also served as CEO of Lundin Mining and EuroZinc Mining.

He currently sits on the boards of Lundin Mining, HudBay Minerals, Troon Ventures and Sherwood Copper and is chairperson of PBS Coals.

“We are extremely fortunate to have someone with Colin's stature and expertise join our team at this critical juncture, as we advance the El Creston molybdenum deposit towards production," said Creston president Jonathan George.
