The seventh biennial Valve World Expo that will take place at the end of the year in Düsseldorf, Germany, is receiving significant interest from exhibitors, reports exhibition organiser Messe Düsseldorf.
As many as 328 companies from 33 countries have already registered to exhibit at the conference, with the exhibition held in halls 3 and 4 of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre. So far, 10 700 m2 of net exhibition space has been rented.
Outside of the many German companies that will be exhibiting, most exhibitors come from Italy, the UK, the Netherlands, the US, Taiwan, South Korea, India and China.
The organisers report that intensified canvassing talks have taken place in other countries. There has been a particular concentration on overseas operations, but also on Europe. Attention is focused on valve and fitting makers from Italy, the Benelux countries, the UK and France.
The Valve World Conference will be held concurrently with the trade fair. The accompanying conference is organised by Kleve-based company KCI.
In total, 400 exhibitors from 35 countries are expected in Düsseldorf. The organisers expect about 7 000 trade visitors who will gather information on technical innovations from the areas of valves, valve-related products and valve-related piping products, seals, sealing materials, engineering as well as supporting services over the three days of the trade fair. Leak detection and repair software as well as associations and publishers complement the ranges on show at the Valve World Expo.
Given the diversity of ranges displayed, Messe Düsseldorf indicates that exhibitors benefit from the diversity of exhibitors who then become visitors to fellow exhibitors. The organiser reports that component and finished product manufacturers can expect to find their suppliers among the exhibitor community, while major plant and machinery manufacturers will most likey find their components at the stands of other exhibitors at the Valve World Expo.
The current technical trends proposed by the Valve World Expo are of particular interest to trade visitors from such fields as mining, shipbuilding, engine and vehicle construc-tion, the chemical and power industries, the marine and offshore industry, the food industry as well as machine and plant engineering.
This is the first time that the exhibition will be held in Düsseldorf.
The Valve World Expo was previously based in Maastricht, in the Netherlands. Düsseldorf is hailed as the city of fairs and the organisers report that the move has been met by a positive reaction from the companies exhibiting.
