Eqstra Heavy Lifting Equipment (EHLE) is the industrial heavy lifting and port equipment arm of Eqstra Industrial Equipment, which distributes and provides after-sales support for best-in-class brands in advanced lifting and hauling solutions and machine transport systems.

EHLE’s product line-up includes cranes for the diverse and demanding requirements of the sector, as well as terminal tractors and an innovative excavator transport system. Forging partnerships for life with its customers, EHLE also provides the industrial sector with a comprehensive range of services, including long- and short-term rental, parts supply, service and maintenance contracts, the sale of new and used equipment and parts and operator driver training.

The main equipment supplied by EHLE comprises mobile cranes from Broderson and Link-Belt Construction Equipment; excavators from Kobelco; mining equipment from Sleipner; terminal tractors from Terberg; and port terminal handling, including heavy-duty forklift trucks from Konecranes.

EHLE carries a full range of parts for all these product, and provides aftermarket service and support.

EHLE was established in 2011 and forms part of the Eqstra Industrial Equipment division of Eqstra Holdings Limited group. It is based in Pomona, Kempton Park, and has branches in Cape Town and Durban. EHLE also has a dealer network in Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique, Tete, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

EHLE recently delivered 25 terminal tractors to Transnet for the Port of Cape Town and also received an order for 29 terminal tractors from Transnet Freight Rail. These tractors will be delivered in April.
