ELB creates value with high iron ore product qualities

ELB Engineering Services (ELB) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract in the Northern Cape, to set up a 200tph Dense Media Separator (DMS) Plant, which is capable of handling and beneficiating around 1 million tonnes of -32mm iron ore per year. This project will beneficiate lower grade Run of Mine iron ore and achieve higher selling prices for certain ore bodies. The processing plant will substantially increase the life of mine at the current mining rate.

ELB’s scope of work includes the supply, delivery, erection and commissioning of the complete process plant which includes a degrit plant, thickener and flocculant plant, process and raw water tanks and reticulation, front end material handling as well as product and waste stacker.

The contract includes C5 commissioning to maximise Fe in the product stream.
