At this year’s CIM 2017 Convention, David Brown Santasalo will display its innovative AMF gearbox designed for critical agitator, mixer and flotation applications in the mining industry. Booth #509 at the Palais des Congrès in Montreal will be home to David Brown Santasalo’s expert team, who are on hand to answer questions about the company’s leading gear technology and North American in-service support network.

Proven drive technology
The robustly built AMF Series gearbox demonstrates proven drive technology, honed over a combined 285 years, as well as innovative features such as a bi-directional fan and optimized housing to ensure high thermal capacity. The AMF Series’ design eliminates the need for external cooling in extreme ambient conditions and is well suited harsh or remotely located environments, where external cooling is not available.

Designed using extensive understanding of the end users’ processes, the AMF Series is manufactured for demanding vertical applications experiencing severe external forces from the customers’ application. Its direct drive construction with an electrical motor and flexible high speed shaft coupling ensures high efficiency, as well as featuring reversible operational direction.

TECHNICAL DATA:
• Design sizes: 4
• Number of stages: 2 – 3
• Power range: up to 750kW
