Attached please find a press release on: Iluka Resources Limited ("Iluka") announces an Inferred Mineral Resource for the Typhoon heavy mineral ("HM") deposit, located in the Eucla Basin, South Australia (Figure 1). The Typhoon deposit is located 4 kilometres south-east of Iluka's Jacinth-Ambrosia mining operation, on EL 3742.

An Inferred Resource of 1.34 million tonnes of HM has been estimated for this deposit, in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the JORC Code (2004) for the reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves.
