Attached please find a press release on: AngloGold Ashanti reported adjusted headline earnings of $105m for the first quarter of 2008, significantly higher than the previous quarter, due to the improved gold price, tax credits and the absence of accounting adjustments that negatively affected earnings in the fourth quarter of 2007.
