Bigen Africa is delighted to announce the appointment of Loyiso Ndlovu, the first woman to be appointed as Human Capital Director at leading infrastructure development firm Bigen Africa. “Loyiso is a focused and performance-driven executive with a strategic mind-set and a proven ability to deliver long-term value,” says Dr Snowy Khoza, Bigen Africa CEO. Loyiso has a wealth of management experience in human resources, development finance and information technology.
“She has proven her competence in the IT training and development space, as well as management of projects and programmes. She is a creative thinker, with a successful track record of conceptualising, initiating and mobilising projects, including public sector financing techniques and organisational systems. We are immensely pleased that we have been able to place a woman of such stature in this function, at the same time increasing our female representation in top management” says Khoza.
Prior to joining Bigen Africa Loyiso managed her own strategy consulting company and worked at the Development Bank of Southern Africa as executive manager of human capital and technology. Besides lecturing part-time in business administration at UNISA, she is an advisory panel member for Conversation International and a member of the Institute of People Management. Her academic achievements include a Master’s degree in Business Administration at the UNISA Graduate School of Business Leadership (2005), the Postgraduate Management Development Programme at the UNISA Graduate School of Business Leadership (2003) and a BSc in Industrial Information Technology at the University of Central England in Birmingham (1994).
