JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – An executive of gold mining company Centamin is believed to have been on the ill-fated EgyptAir flight MS804 that disappeared between Paris and Cairo on Thursday.

The British National was believed to have been flying to work for the gold mining company, which owns the Sukari mine, in Egypt.

The executive was a senior geologist for Centamin Egypt and had been with the company for ten years.

All 66 people on board the flight, including a child and two babies, were feared dead after debris believed to be from the plane was found floating in the Mediterranean Sea.
