TORONTO (miningweekly.com) – Canada Lithium, the TSX-listed junior, will announce the results of an internal review of its Quebec project resources early next week, CEO Peter Secker said on Monday.
The company will also next week appoint an “international group” to conduct a detailed audit of its resources.
“We think that’s about a six-week process,” Secker told Mining Weekly Online on the sidelines of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) conference.
He was expecting to see the results of the Roscoe Postle and Associates review of its resources this weekend, and Canada Lithium will then issue a press release early in the week.
Canada Lithium shed half of its share price after it announced on Monday last week that it had discovered a discrepancy in the resources at its Quebec project.
The stock has since rebounded, and was trading at $0,92 a share on Monday at 11:36, down 7% for the day.
